Agreed. I don’t think it’s the actual explanation, but it’s the only thing I could come up with off the top of my head. I’m guessing the poster is just remembering the setup wrong. Or it was just intentionally a nonsensical joke.
I saw Rob Zombie’s Halloween II so I think I know the answer.

In the Halloween II version, two ambulance drivers are discussing how good one of the dead girls looked. Then one told the joke as “between jelly and jam” with the punch line being “You can’t jelly your dick up a dead girl’s ass.”
