I’m planning to arrive between 7 and 7:30 and have dinner.
stargazer, we’ve never met (have we?), so I’ll just go around to every table and sniff for cupcakes. 
I just called the pub and confirmed that the quiz starts at the civilized hour of 8:00.
I’ll be there by 7:45, but hopefully more like 7:15.
I’m planning on 7:15-ish, depending on when I can finish mowing the lawn. I will not be having dinner but I will be drinking heavily, and possibly returning from too-frequent bathroom visits with a strange look in my eye. We’ll have to see about that last bit.
There was some discussion last Tuesday of doing the Irish Emigrant tonight. (Reminder of the details: 8:00, University and 52nd.) Anyone interested? I’ve got a friend from work who’d like to stop by as well.

I can probably be there – we’re doing a major weed-out of the crap we’ve collected over the years, so there’s a chance I’ll be too wiped out. But I’ll try to save some energy.
Which is really fun, and worth seeing, for anyone who’d rather drive to Edmonds than go to trivia. The leading man is particularly dashing.

Just thought since we’re somewhat adrift, pub-wise, bringing this up early might help get all of us together somewhere. I know I’ve been missing way too many nights this past month or more, and I’m really in the mood to do some trivia!
I recommend Tuesday at the Old Pequliar.
Why? Because I’ll be hosting. A few other people from my group blog and I offered to host on a rotating basis, so I’ll be hosting at the OP every few weeks and available to play at other pubs other weeks.
Tuesday’s our debut, and I’m the lucky quiz host. I promise I’ve made this one less impossible. And I’ll also point out that a surprising number of my co-workers want to come play that night, so the pot may be extra big.
I’d love to see my Doper teammates – to see you sweat, that is.

Wow, this is my third attempt at posting this, and the lame joke I had is sounding lamer by the attempt. I’ll be there. I will quail at the mightiness of my brother’s intellect. I will mutter at the lack of questions that I know a lot about like “What’s in my apartment?” and “Sabre Fencing in Seattle.”

Congrats to the team I usually play with for coming in first – I’d feel more guilty about that, except that you only pulled it out on the last round, when Faust crashed and burned on the infomercial products.
At lunch today, one of my coworkers said I’d have a real Sophie’s choice the first time I’m playing when you guys and they both are. I said I’d probably have to go with the coworkers, because you’re all more experienced trivia players – which was my secret code for “smarter,” of course.
I know it’s a bit early, but I just wanted to say I’ll be there on Tuesday and so will Anastasaeon, if all goes well. We will have to buy her a drink for her success.
