What’s going on in China right now is some pretty terrible stuff. But I saw this picture and thought, “Awwww, it’s Tank Baby!”
GT–That’s what I said! When I got home, all I could think was that I was having TCU flashbacks! It’s nurses. Hate to say it, but it is. We can be a real passive/aggressive bunch. What got me most was her saying,“and you think you’re doing someone a favor.”
Well, no, actually. You could easily have said no to coming in. You ARE getting paid to be here. 
I can’t wait (sarcasm) to spend today with her.
I cannot talk well today–sound less like Kathleen Turner and more like Jimmy Durante. But I slept and slept. I like the house (have forgotten whose it is–sorry).
Jinglwhatever (it’s too early for names)–how you doin’? A man who uses sunscreen(means you’re sensible), hikes around natural monuments(means you like to be outdoors and can appreciate beauty) and looks good(obvious)? Did I die and go to heaven? 
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ here. A little earlier than usual too. Actually I’ve been up about an hour. I woke up, had to pee and thought about goin’ back to bed but I was afraid if I did I’d sleep for two-three more hours and then be all panicky cause I’d actually have to hurry to get purtified and such. So, I stayed up. Gonna be a long day.
Nice house Tagless! I agree that the kitchen is too dark. The cabinets are nice though. I second BioTigs idea of sanding and painting the cabinet doors a lighter color. I did that in the kitchen of my first house. The cabinet doors were all dark pine. I sanded 'em down and painted 'em off white. Looked a whole bunch better. Of course that means painting the facings or whatever you call the rest of the cabinets too. Think of it as a project you can do when the rugrat goes to school this Fall.

Ok, rosie, I admit. I only watched about the first 1 1/2 minutes of your video. IF the kitteh starts juggling live mice in the last 30 seconds, I guess I missed the grand finale. But darn it, I was tired and on my way to bed.

I am sooooo tired this morning. I should be getting ready by now but I have zero energy. Today I’ve got two lunches to deliver and then I’ll be on my way to TVLand for the weekend. I assume we’ll be going to TVMom’s house for Easter dinner and I’m still trying to decide what to bring. It’s probably going to be brownies, though, since I’ve already got some made. I’d rather bring some cinnamon bread, but I am severly lacking in ambition and also ingredients at TVMan’s house.
Up, caffeinating, off to work. Firday, meh. I like making out with girls, and watching girls make out.
Oh, yeah, I was going to say…I had similar cabinets in a much smaller kitchen. Painted them white right off. I’m about to repaint them (it’s been almost nine years and we did a real rush job. I’d really like to get new cabinets, but it’s not in the financial cards. The sander and paint are, on the other hand, already in the basement. I’m thinking about going with a color this time around (in which case the paint isn’t in the basement), but not sure yet.
I rather like the look of your cabinets, though, NoLabel… They look like they’re much nicer quality than mine are. Oh…and I wouldn’t sweat the non-matching appliances.
Oh…and I also meant to comment on jnglmassiv’s pics. Nice.

Blurf. I had a fire page last night right at bedtime, to set up a landing zone to medevac a kid who rolled his truck driving stupidly. I was the point guy on the hose, meaning that I’d be the first fireman to roast if the chopper actually crashed.
He was loaded without a hitch.
BTW, it’s Good Friday, for those of us who observe the relevant faiths.

I couldn’t breathe at all last night, and I think I took two 24 hour Claritin-D’s. One at the regular time and one when I still couldn’t breathe a few hours later, half asleep of course. Stoopid allergies and sick.
House is nice NoLa, the cabinets are darkly stained. If you want to keep the wood look, you could always sand them and stain them a lighter color.
Kitty video is making FireFox close.

Up and starting to houseclean here, although looking around is enough to make me give up in despair before I start.
Room 304 is where we send all the misbehaving ones, Mousie, so they won’t disturb us here in the main MMP room. The only way to find out what goes on in there, though, is to visit the place yourself. But be prepared for what you find. :eek:
I’m here this morning; more I cannot say. I about froze when I got up this morning, though – I’d turned the heat off yesterday when I opened the house up, and I stupidly forgot to turn it back on before bedtime! :smack: So the house was a wonderful 57° when I got up. Brrr! Needless to say, I am bundled up while it warms up.
It’s Papa Tigs’ RDO, and he thought he was going to have to go in anyway this morning for a meeting but someone else [del]was[/del] volunteered, so he’s home being lazy. The Idiots are all his today. He’s got to take them back to the vet – Isaac needs a recheck of his nasty ears (poor baby has chronic ear infections we have never been able to completely eliminate, and trust me, it’s not for lack of trying), and the lab managed to break Rusty’s vial of blood to do a full panel. :smack: So he’ll probably reward them afterwards with a trip to the Bestest Place Ever (i.e. the beach), which should do an excellent job of taking their minds of the trauma of visiting the EVIL doctor.

WTF is up with this weather??? Yesterday it was in the mid 40’s and now we freaking have a couple inches of snow on the ground! I just want it to be spring. I’m so sick of snow.
Laundry is done and caught up. But I think I’m going to clean some. that would be a good thing to do today.
Blergh. I joined our resident contingent of insomniacs last night. Ugh. Tempted to take the afternoon off. We’ll see.
