Wow, you all have been a bunch of Chatty Cathys haven’t you. I managed to skim some of the MMP before going to work out, but I’m sure I missed a lot anyway.
Very nice, OP Lunch.
My daughter loves Flogging Molly and even my son is kind of into them. My daughter would love to go to one of their concerts.
We were down two staff in our office today and Monday is one of our busiest days because of all the reports we have to queue up and run. And, of course, just about anything that could go wrong with these reports, did go wrong. Things go smoothly for months and then everything blows up. Arrgh. We got everything but one report squared away. The last report will have to wait until tomorrow morning. The people we run this report for keep changing shit around which means we have change our Access database and the associated queries with it around. It pisses me right the hell off. We’re supposed to be teaching them how to do their own damn report, but it’ll have to wait for a week or two. We’re still in the middle of Business Planning and Critical Initiatives. Blech, I wish things would slow down just a tad.
My abs are slightly sore from my workout tonight. I’m sure they’ll be fine in the morning though.
Well, there’s nothing else of note or even mundane going on here, so I guess I’ll just close this.
Hugs, smooches, yays and boos to all who need them.
I don’t have time to ready the whole thing - 3 pages already! - but I wanted to check in.
Got hit with a $192 vet bill - Mr Spock somehow (MagicI’mgonnakillhim) ended up with a gnormous abcess on his butt - took him in Friday and bailed him out today. I had to go get him out of his kennel - apparently he took exception to the amount of attention being paid to his sore butt and decided to stop it. Of course he came right to Mama and started purring. But now he has a “bad cat” label on his chart. It was quite nasty when they opened the abcess.
I am tahred and going to spend some quality time with my Spockums sweet boy with the shaved butt.
Morning all. Goodness, drinking sure makes people talkative, doesn’t it? Welcome to all the MMP noobs! Stick around - we’re fun even when [del]we’re[/del] you’re not drunk!
Another day of [del]loafing[/del] working at home looms large! But this will be delayed somewhat as hubby and I finally have our appointment this morning to get our new national ID cards (and one for HRH too), so we can then lodge our application for visa sponsorship for a housemaid! w00t! Progress, kind of!
Wow, Tuesday page three guys! I tried getting on a few times yesterday, wasn’t able to, and went about other business.
I didn’t find the rebate for the washer and dryer, which is due to be posted April 5. Jim wants to murder me now.
I also didn’t call the cell phone company to take the games the kids put on his phone that now cost us $15.00 a month. I must do that today.
I did get to the middle of a project for the kids though. And do the dishes, make dinner, shower, run errands, pick up the house, and get the kids off to school.
Thats got to count for something, right?
Right?
I’m debating about going to the other house today. It’s going to be rainy and gloomy for the next two days, I swear there are more gloomy days in early spring than in winter all together.
Cripes, guys. Page three?
How many hangovers today?
Morning. Today we’re going to Ikea en famille to buy chairs that people don’t fall though, and Mr. Lissar is going to try to convince me that we need a scanner. It would be an easier sell if he hadn’t bought an external hard drive just last week.
Also, my boss phoned yesterday to ask if I could go back to work in May, instead of September. Nat would be 3 1/2 months. I left for two hours on Friday night and he pitched a huge fit. I’m thinking the answer is NO. I don’t want to go all legal on him, because he’s a nice guy, but they are legally required to give me my job back at the end of Mat leave.
