Purp and crew got into to Las Cruces just before 2100 last night, and settled into a motel. I’m just awaiting word this morning to see where they are. She is on the last leg of the journey now, and everything has gone well.

0905 Update
They just crossed into Texas, heading for El Paso, and then on to San Antonio. Yay! In the home stretch!
They stopped for dinner last night in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and saw a large herd of antelope when they were going through Wyoming.
1249 Update.
350 miles west of San Antonio on I10, and moving right along.
1650 update:
120 miles from San Antonio, and home. They expect to be home by 7:30 or so, local.
Purp is frustrated; wanting to put the hammer down, but the local gendarmerie are being more attentive than is appreciated, and she’s going through a construction zone also.
She will probably make her own next update from the house.

We’re HOME!! YIPPEEE!!! 
I miss VB and fam. of course, but it’ll be so great to sleep in our own beds tonight. I am soooooooooooo tired. I drove 755.2 miles on Monday, 726.5 on Tuesday, and 599.1 today. Whew!
Headed out for supper now, be back soon. (Nothing in the fridge, go figure)
