If Daisies has to go, can we get a spin-off of Emerson and Olive as PI’s? Please?
“Shut the a capella up.” Snort.

I liked it when Ned caught the apple Charles Charles threw at him and it immediately turned brown. And I want a pie raincoat! Or even an olive one. I was sort of worried that Chuck would go for the shiny and pick her dad over Ned. The kiss with the saran wrap was classic.
StG
No. One song every TWENTY minute segment.
With an occasional number by Ellen Greene- or a duet with both of them!
The sheer joy on her face when she joined in was perfect -
Shut the occapella up!
I wonder if the producers of the show and/or a network would keep the show on if we paid for it.
Last I heard, there were about 4 million viewers on average this season - if even 1/2 of us paid $5 per episode, that would seem to cover production costs +.
Hell, I’d pay $10 per episode to keep this season alive - if for no other reason than to give Brian Fuller time to finish it properly.
Wonderfalls is best when viewed from beginning to end - I dont remember a single element from the early episodes that wasnt complete at the end - it all tied together.
Pushing Daisies deserves that same chance.
You are very wise. After the conquest, I shall make certain that PD is revived and that KC has just such a clause in her contract.
Of course, I’m not going to let the rest of you watch it. I just want you to know about it so you suffer appropriately.
Oddly, I found myself feeling quite sympathetic to Charles Charles. I understand Chuck & Ned’s desire to be together, and I think Charles was being too controlling, but I also couldn’t help thinking that I’d do the exact same thing.
I really enjoyed the bit early on when Lilly and Vivian came over to Ned’s house to investigate- Lilly with her trusty shotgun in tow!
I respectfully request permission to view the new episodes, by virtue of my aforementioned wisdom.
Sorry, but I’m all evil and stuff.
It was worth a try! At least you didn’t sic (sic) the monkeys on me!
I much prefer the crime investigations. The family/romance drama doesn’t cut it for me. And sometimes the verbal gymnastics is VERY annoying.
Still I enjoy the show quite a bit.
Um…yes I did. You mean these aren’t your bloody kidneys they just brought back?
Stupid monkeys.
The linguistic ledgermain is what makes the show worth watching. Well, that and Olive’s perfectly wonderful bosom. I particularly enjoyed it when the kid buried his head in said bosom for, ah, comfort.
I hated the saran wrap kiss. It just emphasized to me why Charles Charles is right.
I know, I know. From Chuck’s point of view, her relationship with Ned is a big “Sunday Morning” shout-out. But if I loved someone whose existence could be cut short by the merest touch from me, I’d want that person far, far away; I’d rather never see her again and her live for a long time, even if she found someone else, than have her die needlessly because we were both turning a corner at the same time from opposite directions and didn’t see one another until it was too late.
I’m not looking at the posts.
I can’t get PD to load at work. I have a support group meeting tonight, I’ll see if I can watch it tomorrow.
I’m twitching…I need my Ned-smile Chuck-dress Olive-cleavage Emerson-snark fix!
Yes, and if the show wasn’t already canceled, the “dead dad” thing would be the point where the show “jumped the shark”.
I don’t like Charles Charles, and I don’t like Chuck, either. I think Deadly Nedly should touch both of them and get on with solving crimes with Olive and Cod (with her aunts thrown in regularly).
Olive is one crazy little pixie. She has to watch her chest bumps with Cod - she just about bagged him!
Actually I’m pretty sure that she’s…not immortal–we don’t know that. But certainly she doesn’t age (based on the fact that Digby is…what? A golden retriever? Who was certainly 2 years old when Ned revived him. That’s a pretty spry 25-ish year old dog for a breed who’s life-span is about 10-12 years.
Watched it!
Olive seems to be growing on Emerson. Itty-bitty indeed.
Anyone catch both Mary Kay Place and Kirsten were on West Wing?
I’m glad Charles Charles is gone. I didn’t like him intimidating Ned, and getting into a fight with Ned was just stupid. Ned would never re-dead him because of Chuck.
Lily screaming in fear at the clown…hee hee hee.
I loved the mystery…did Nora melt or something? That was some  makeup at the morgue. And where is Morgue Dude, anyway? I want to see him again.
I liked how Olive shoved Elliot away from her cleavage a bit self-consciously. And the singing.
This show is just trying to break our hearts, isn’t it?
She is immortal in that sense. We don’t know if she can die from injury, but her father is “alive” and walking despite the condition of his vital organs.
Chuck’s dad obviously eats. If they’re going to keep him around, let all that food restore his looks. Otherwise, he really needs to be redeaded. If Ned won’t do it, maybe Emerson will. Or, he crashes his car and gets ashed in a fire.
The chest bump “booyah!” got a LOL out of me. They make a great team.
I liked the fight between Ned & Chuck’s dad. Ned actually got serious & angry for a moment. Not just Pushing Daisies-style serious, but almost real-life serious.
The wordplay was, as usual, top-notch, but the chest bump was my favorite part of the episode. Damn funny visual.
