The guy doing the vetting for Trump for VP is the same guy who came up with Palin for McCain, so, yeah, good job there, guy.
I had to laugh yesterday when the press asked Newt about the reports that Trump had asked him to file some paperwork for vetting and he said nobody from the Trump campaign had contacted him.
Yeah, Palin’s unsinkable. She’s sort of like Trump; those who love her will never desert her, and the rest of us just laugh at her. She’d be a YUGE mistake as a VP pick, though. I don’t see Trump’s advisors not putting up a massive stink if Trump actually picked her.
As an aside, is it me or is Corker just crying out for a Dana Carvey impersonation?

The rank and file may disagree, but it’s obvious why some in the GOP leadership *love *the Mafia. They like to call themselves “businessmen,” they want machine guns in their hands, and they want to make money without actually having any identifiable respectable skills. Why do you think Rudy has had such a hard time in the party?

Sure, there are some guys like that, but they miss out on the growth and fulfillment of a committed and egalitarian relationship. Try to fill that void with an ongoing series of shallow, hedonistic sexual adventurism. Gotta feel sorry for guys like that. Or at least try.
