You probably have seen a national Toyota ad with a lady imitating some (famous) announcer standing right next to her. Who is she imitating and what sport is he from? …Pro Wrestling? Monster Trucks? I don’t follow such things closely, but it is bugging the heck out of me…who is he???
His name is Michael Buffer, and he acts primarily as a ring announcer for boxing, wresting, and mixed martial arts. He has a U.S. trademark on his “let’s get ready to rumble” line (which he’s used since the 1980s), and because of that line, he also makes a lot of appearances at other sporting events, as well as movies, TV shows and commercials.
