qu: Sequel to Chicago Shooting

1990 or before: group of six kids walks by a Chicago cabbie. One of them (I’ll name him “Loudmouth”) tosses a napkin into the driver’s face, saying “Here, wipe your ass with this.” Cabbie emerges with a pistol, and all the kids get shot (except Loudmouth).

I read about this in the Chicago Trib back then, and I remember thinking “That guy just lost five friends.” Even today I wonder: what ever did happen to Loudmouth? Did his friends disown him? Did he learn a profound lesson? Or is he still provoking trouble?

Bump, 'cause I want a link to this case, if available.
