queens of the stone age

Has anyone else listened to Queens of the Stone Age’s CD,
“Songs for the Deaf”? I just picked it up last week after hearing “No One Knows” on the radio, and I love it! What a great CD.

It’s been a while since I’ve been interested enough in a new rock band to go out and buy a CD.

Anyone else like it too? Just curious.

I considered picking it up today, but I opted for something else. These things happen. I might get it next week, though.

I was going to buy it the other day, but Tower records only had the “clean” version of the CD. F**king censors.

I bought it about two weeks ago and it’s been in near continuous play since. It’s good to have Dave back on drums. Damn, that boy can bang the drums.

Its a great album.
I have had it for a couple of months now and, like Homebrew, it has been on continuous play ever since.
They came to Seattle a few months ago and it was sold out before I could get tickets clenches fist

Its a super cd and a bit creepy at times (songs for the dead) but I love it.

Who else is in this band beside Dave on drums? I’m showing my age here but I’m somewhat behind the times.
You kids get off my lawn!!!

I love songs for the deaf, but I prefer Rated “R”.

It’s a great album, definitely worth buying.

Cholo: the core of the band consists of Josh Homme (formerly of Kyuss) on guitar/vocals and Nick Oliveri (Kyuss, Dwarves) on bass and sometimes on vocals. I think they are the only two permanent members, although for example Dave Catching and Mark Lanegan often play with them.
