Question about this Wednesday's Simpsons (Homer vs the Mob)

So I need your help to settle a disagreement between me and my girlfriend. I saw the “season finale” of the Simpsons tonight (5/19) on the East Coast. During a commercial break, they mentioned a special new episode of the Simpsons that will air on Wednesday, 5/22. This new episode has as its plot Homer versus the mob. I got really excited when I saw it, because I heard them playing the theme song for The Sopranos during the commercial. After the episode was over, I told my girlfriend (who lives on the West Coast) that there might be some Sopranos characters on this new episode (or there might not), but they definitely played the Sopranos theme music.

After she watches the episode, she tells me that she saw the ad twice and there was no Sopranos theme music.

Vindicate me! Did you see a version of the commercial where they did play the theme music for the Sopranos??

Yes, the ad did use the Sopranos theme music. I taped the Simpsons finale, I rewatched the tape after reading this thread, and the Sopranos theme music is unquestionably there.

At least, it’s there for the ad I watched, which was during the first commercial break, about 10 or 11 minutes into the show. That means it aired at about 6:41 PM Central.

Max, you’re my hero.

TV Guide mentions the episode will parody The Sopranos, among other things.
