Question about vB subscription folders.

I gather that it’s not possible for me to place one thread in more than one subscription folder. (That’s a shame, because some threads almost defy classification, but, hey, I manage.)

But here’s my question: before I discovered the Magical Goodness of having subscription folders, all the threads I subscribed to all went into the “Subscriptions” generic folder (I have 1145 in there currently). I’m in the process of going through that folder and re-distributing the threads therein to specific subject folders (e.g., Books, Movies, Television, Food, Sampiro, etc. etc.) and so far the only way I’ve found to move a thread from one folder to another is to open the thread, Unsubscribe, then Subscribe it into the proper folder.

Surely there’s a better way?

Go to the folder with the subscribed threads you wish to move. To the right of each listed thread, there will be a checkbox. For each thread you wish to move to a given folder, click the checkbox to check it. When you’ve checked all the threads you wish to move to the chosen folder, go to the “Selected Threads” dropdown list at the bottom of the subscription list and select “Move to folder…”, then click Go. The next page will allow you to select which folder to move the selected thread(s) to. Choose it and click “Move Items”. Repeat for each folder you wish you move threads to.
