Question about website cookies

Every evening before I leave work, I clear my cookies out. I have seen the horrors of leaving a computer logged on, and I visit only a couple of websites that I have to log onto so I just clear the cache and cookies daily.

The websites I log onto are not the problem (it’s not really a problem, just strange), it’s one particular site I don’t log onto. The cookie resists cleaning the first time, I usually have to clean the cookies twice to get it to go away.

Like I said, it’s not a website I’m logged onto, and it’s probably no big deal, just strange that of the 15 or 20 cookies I accumulate over a day, this one cookie seems to be immune to a once over cleaning.

So what’s the Dope on cookies?

What do you mean?

Are you talking about leaving yourself logged onto your online banking account or something else?

Stuff like this probably.

Bingomundo!

Oh, it can get you in trouble just about anywhere, depending on the person taking advantage of it.

Ah – so YOU were the reason that my search hung on the screen for so long, palooka!
