Green Bean, I’m sure is was just a case of similar name (Green Bean vs stringbean). I met you many years ago at a NYC Dopefest, and I wouldn’t call you a troll in any way, shape, or form. Even though you did detest me. I have that effect on women.

I think its more of a disagreement than a pitting, but forum rules don’t allow that outside a pit.
So, under current rules saying that you kambuckta are an atrocious antipodean arsehole* is the same saying, that I think you got the whole grandparenting thing wrong.

It sounds like a sincere question to me. I don’t think Green Bean intended for this to be mean-spirited. However, IvoryTowerDenizen asked her to take it to the Pit instead of asking the question in IMHO. Sarahfeena put the thread here in the spirit of respecting moderator instructions, not out of any desire for lynching or attacking Dangerosa.

Just like Green Bean’s comment. It was a broadside attack from nowhere. It had nothing to do with the thread or even the post she quoted, but attacked Dangerosa’s parenting and implied she was some horrible bigot against her own kid. She just brought up shit from the past to attack her outside the Pit, hoping to get a rise out of her.
I didn’t call Green Bean a troll. I pointed out she was trolling. There’s a difference. To be honest, given that “joke” in response to me, and the fact she couldn’t even quote properly, I assumed she was drunk or otherwise inebriated. (Since she’s defending and continuing it, I guess not.)
As monstro points out, if she were truly just concerned about the kid, she would not have posted in public. You post people’s dirty laundry in public to shame them, and hope that others jump on.
Just like it’s obvious that Sarahfeena is trying to start a pile on for Dangerosa, despite claiming she just wants an explanation. Not only is it in public, but it’s in the Pit, where you post when you’re pissed off and want to duke it out. If she wanted just an explanation, she’d have asked via PM.
It doesn’t matter one bit how long either of them have been posting here. If anything, it only makes it easier for them to have some beef with Dangerosa.

You would have to be kidding yourself if you think Green Bean is airing a sincere “disagreement.” I know nothing about the back story to this, in fact I don’t know why I even opened the thread, but the linked thread in the quoted post doesn’t in any way support the idea that Dangerosa is arbitrarily exhibiting differing attitudes to her children. Rather it indicates that she is a mindful and sensible parent of two children whose personalities she seems very in touch with. Posts 147, 165 and 166 will do me as evidence of Dangerosa’s attitude.
May I ask if you think there is anything you would find troublesome about Dangerosas parenting? Are you not concerned for her son? Why is it wrong for the community to have a discussion of it? Maybe you have some insight into this that others have missed.
…why should we be concerned for her son? We’ve got a vague OP, and a link to a five page thread. What the fuck is it we are supposed to be discussing exactly? If there is something to be concerned about: then the police are obviously the first people that should be contacted. So if you are concerned for her son, then at the very least make a case for why we should be concerned for him. Give us your insight as to what the fuck this thread is all about.

No, Green Bean is an all around good bean, in fact the only ray of light to shine from the otherwise darkhole of legumes here.
How she managed it is a mystery. String bean, Lima, butter, adzuki, and mung are all wastes of space.
