I’m 5’10", and I don’t think it’s terribly important. I’ve been attracted to women taller than me. Up until recently, I’d only dated (or been married to) women that were 5’4" or shorter, and I obviously found them attractive. Now, I’m with a woman who is 5’6", and I’m finding it to be an extremely pleasant height. I don’t consider the four-inch difference to fall into the “noticeably shorter” category.
as a guy who is 6’3" there are damn few women taller than me, so shorter it is, although I do like tall women

Then you could include the option of “I just want to see the poll results” instead of absurd non sequiturs. Phrase it as “No answer, just curious!” or something if you want to be lighthearted about it. That and a “You left out ___” poll option would cover all of your bases, and might make your polls more attractive to those who find the poll question seriously interesting, but who roll their eyes at in-poll goofiness that gives the impression that you don’t care about the answers, and back out of the thread.
I’ve backed out of a number of your polls without answering, despite having an answer to give, and I think I’ve made a similar remark about the goofy poll options before. I’d rather see the attempt at humor in the message itself, leave the poll options straight. It’s your prerogative, of course.
I’ve dated women taller and shorter than me. Doesn’t make a big difference.
Just by the numbers, I’m unlikely to have a relationship with a woman taller than me, but that’s just because women taller than me are quite rare. If I did meet one, and she were my type, I don’t think it would be a problem.
I apologize for the board rule requiring that everyone post in my threads, vote in my polls, and sing my praises. It’s highly unfair.

sorry guys, i’m just plain not comfortable dating men shorter than me. i’m 5’10" for crying out loud. in just 2-inch heels that makes me six feet tall, and i own 3 and 3.5 inch heels as well.
I tend to like women of average height or taller, but at 6’2’’ almost all of those are going to be shorter than me. Every woman I’ve seen who is taller than 6’ has been a little gangly-looking which is not especially my type.
One of the first naughty jokes I learned in grade-school. The space ship came down and a 40 foot woman got off and asked to see my leader. I said lead me to your ladder. You can see my leader later.
I’m another 6’6" guy checking in and I’ve dated one woman that was close to my height, she was 6’4" and it was great. Everything fits together so much better plus I love long legs. On the other hand I’ve dated a bunch of tiny women and took home a girl who was 5’2" the other night but I’ve made it a rule that I won’t date a girl more then a foot shorter then me it just complicates too much without any value added.
