The ad says that it’s bases on a series, what series? The art style seems familar, is it based on some comic book artist?
I am assuming you’re not talking about the Doris Day/Clark Gable movie? As far as I know, that was not based on a comic strip . . .
It’s a pretty obscure-seeming animated t.v. show…I’m not sure what channel(s) it’s on, but I’ve caught glimpses of it…I remember a few years ago, I think it was on a lot more…
Teacher’s Pet the 2003 film is best on the television series Teacher’s Pet, created by Gary Baseman, a cartoonist with a very unique style.
That should be based on, of course.
Oh, I love Gary Baseman! He’s no Clark Gable, but . . .
I am a big fan of the show and will definently be going to see the movie, with or without my kids. Nathan Lane does the voice of the dog/boy. The show is hilarious. Its about a dog that yearns to be a boy and go to school. If you have a chance to catch an episode on the Disney channel, tune in and give it the one episode shot.
Love it love it love it
TEACHER’S PET was on ABC Disney’s One Saturday Morning lineup till this season. Now it’s on Toon Disney & maybe the Disney Channel. It annoyed the hell out of me at first for some reason but then I came to love it.
Not as much as I love RECESS or THE WEEKENDERS, granted.
Another plus: Jerry Stiller does the voice of one of the other housepets, a short-tempered parrot.
