I think it’s a great idea, don’t you? Why didn’t Austen, Melville, Fitzgerald or Faulkner think of that, anyway?
Are you kidding? Why would you want to read one question after another after another after another? What’s the point? How could anyone possibly be interested in such a thing? Isn’t it too ridiculous to even consider?
Wasn’t there an actual novel where the author never once used the letter ‘e’? Wouldn’t a novel that was nothing but a series of questions fall into the same category?
Has anyone written a novel that’s all questions and doesn’t use the letter e?
I was skeptical at first, but would you believe that I really enjoyed the book? Who would have thought that a novel written this way could be so engaging?
Uh… me?
Is it always about you?
You know better than to ask that, don’t you?
What happened to all the questioners? Have we learned everything there is to know? Is there no more need to ask questions?
Haven’t you seen the news today ?
The news? Before my second cup of coffee? Are you kidding?
Did everyone go off to post in the Exclamations Only! thread?
What do you think?
Not an unreasonable theory, innit?
And can you believe it’s August already?
Why is that so surprising?
Well, isn’t there a mere one-in-twelve chance that any given day will be in August?
Sure, but were we so busy that we completely missed the passing of July?
Don’t you think that noting that it’s now August is, in an indirect way, also noting the passing of July?
Do you honestly expect me to dignify that with a response?
