Why aren’t there more youth oriented comics in the (surviving) newspapers?

Haven’t they all migrated to the internet?

You’re welcome, BBB (I often got to read my older sister’s copies of Nancy when I was a wee lad), but to answer Cardigan’s question, is it maybe because the green-eyeshade folks think it just doesn’t pay?

Whatever happened to kiddie comic books anyway? Do you remember those spinning racks?

I remember those racks, what happened to all the “mom and pop” candy and sundry stores that had these comic book racks?

I miss those, don’t you?

Which do you miss: the mom and pop stores or the comic book racks?

Am I the only one who misses penny candy too?

Spoons, isn’t it obvious I meant both?

Which penny candy do you miss the most, pixie stix, candy dots, wax lips, etc.?

Remember 5 and dime stores, when you could actually buy things for a nickel or a dime?

Remember when there were actually things that only cost a nickel or a dime?

A nickel? What’s that?

Is it anything like a “weekend”?

Should we be speaking about weak ends here?

Should we talk about strong beginnings?

To begin with, should we all get some strong coffee?

Would that be enough, all things considered?

Are we considering all things, or just some things?

To consider all things, should we not be one with all things?
