Have the quality of the questions dropped off lately?

After 17114 questions isn’t the quality expected to drop a little?
But doesn’t practice make perfect?
Why do doctors, dentists, lawyers, etc., call what they do, “practicing”? Don’t they know how to do it properly yet?

If somebody caused mischief in this thread, and a moderator entered to scold them, but failed to frame the scold in the form of a question, would that make the moderator susceptible to being regarded as “a troll” and diminish overall confidence in his/her ability and the otherwise impeccable reputation of this site to fight ignorance without which the world might collapse more quickly?
