For some reason I seem to have begun to notice it today, and it’s annoying. Without messing with volumes how do I switch it off (if it’s possible to do so)
Go to the Sounds Control Panel and look for the Windows Explorer/Start Navigation sound event. Set it to “None”.
Did that. No difference.
My mistake. I apparently didn’t ‘apply’ the change. (stupid MS windows)
Perhaps you should upgrade to the new Euopean version of Windows?
