Mama’s got a squeezebox she wears on her chest / And when Daddy comes home, he never gets no rest / 'Cause she’s playing all night / And the music’s all right / Mama’s got a squeezebox, Daddy never sleeps at night
Run to the bedroom,
In the suitcase on the left
You’ll find my favorite axe.
Don’t look so frightened
This is just a passing phase,
One of my bad days.
Just testing the observational skills of fellow dopers.
Now I have in my head:
Eighteen hundred and seventy eight
Was the year I remember so well
They put my father in an early grave
Slung my mother in gaol
Now I don’t know what’s right or wrong
But they hung Christ on nails
Six kids at home and two still on the breast
They wouldn’t even give her bail
pick a song and sing a yellow nectarine
take a bath, I’ll drink the water that you leave
if you should die before me
ask if you can bring a friend
pick a flower, hold your breath
and drift away
MaryAnn regrets she’s unable to see you again
We’re leaving for europe next week she’ll be busy till then.
They know that she love me but poor boys don’t fit in their plan
Goodbye true love, goodbye my sweet MaryAnn
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
Nocilla, qué merendilla,
…
(repeat “nutella, what a great snack” for about five minutes. One of the first songs by Siniestro Total)
It’ll stick in your head for a while, but at least it’s a good song. It was the first single from that band I ever heard and I’ve grown to like them very much.
Today’s lyrics:
Some say love, it is a river,
That drowns the tender reed.
Some say love, it is a razor,
That leaves your soul to bleed.
Some say love, it is a hunger,
An endless, aching need.
I say love, it is a flower,
And you, it’s only seed.
