Quick, what's your current earworm?

Adagio in G minor, Tomaso Albinoni

When things are going well, this runs through the edge of my consciousness like the purring of a contented cat

I’m in the 60s folder on my car stereo’s memory card. Currently getting a few Monkees songs. I’ve been getting Pleasant Valley Sunday running thru here and there and thinking of Peter Tork.

Could be worse.

Mike Nesmith

Uh-bah-chaka, Uh-bah-uh-bah-uh-bah-chaka!

That is sublime. Thank you for the link.

Autumn Almanac by the Kinks - just heard it in Morrison’s Supermarket (!)

Oh, and I watched something about the Byrds on TV last night, so now I’m stuck with Eight Miles High and Chestnut Mare.

I mean, they’re all great, I’m fine with it. Three earworms in two ears - I need more ears.

Little Feat’s “Time Loves a Hero.” OH MY GOD GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD

Mine is this: K/DA - POP/STARS, from League of Legends.

It turned up in the latest iteration of Beat Saber, and I love it.

Supertramp’s “Give a Little Bit” has been on more or less constant repeat in my head for about 5 days now. I love the song, but it’s getting old.

I heard it was Doris Day’s birthday and have had Que Sera Sera stuck in my head ever since.

You are welcome. That is my favorite rendition

Don McLean’s “Everybody Loves Me Baby”. Which is a totally awesome song that deserves to be better known.

“Angels guide my every tread
My enemies are sick or dead
But all the victories I’ve led
Haven’t brought you to my bed”

I can’t help but play the Goo Goo Dolls’s latest single, “Miracle Pill,” over and over and over and…: Goo Goo Dolls - Miracle Pill [Official Audio] - YouTube

Bhi Bhiman’s “Moving to Brussels”

Thanks to the recent IMHO thread about frequently misused words, I have had Weird Al’s “Word Crimes” stuck in my head for days: "Weird Al" Yankovic - Word Crimes - YouTube

Suburbia by The Pet Shop Boys.

Just noticed that this is my third post on this page. Never without an earworm.

Sadly, my earworm is the theme song from Mr. Belvedere.

I know how/when. Husband was repeatedly whistling a different song, poorly, that didn’t sound anything like the Mr. Belvedere theme song. I asked him to quit whistling the theme song, and he said he didn’t think he was, so we looked it up on youtube and now it is stuck in my head.

Going on four days :frowning:

Dog Days are Over by Florence and the Machine. I made a video for a work event and, since the event is over, we put it up on social today.

I don’t usually admire my own work like this, but I’ve watched it a whole bunch of times. Partly, it’s just because I love the song. But it’s the video, too. It came together really well.

Although over the course of writing this post, now “On My Way” by Phil Collins is in my head because that’s what I used for one of my previous videos and I was thinking about how I’ve only watched that one through since finishing it enough times to make sure it exported/loaded/posted/etc correctly and I don’t know if it’s because the video wasn’t as good or the song wasn’t.

For me, earworms can be a multi-day thing.
Since almost the weekend, it’s been Gimme Shelter.
