They now have a form when I log in that lists the DVDs that I have. I can tick off any that I have sent back and they send the next one immediately. I finished a movie and posted it and ticked it off at 1am on Thursday. They sent my next one at 1pm the same day. So my DVDs passed each other in the mail.
I presume they make the offer after you have returned a pile of DVDs. Smart idea, eh?
Just as long as they have fixed the problem where they offered me a free month, I cancelled my creditcard at the last minute, they cancelled my account and never let me back into it and they still charged my creditcard $40. I knew I was flying close to the wire and I would have been OK with paying it if they still sent me the damned DVDs.
And nobody wants to talk to me about it either. Not happy John.
Is Quikflix a Netflix subsidiary or just a similar company?
It would be great if Netflix offered the same concept here… I’ve got tons of time to kill and waiting three days to get each delivery just to watch all three in eight hours is a little annoying sometimes.
That’s the exact reason I signed up for the 5-at-a-time program - I was watching 3 in a sitting, and sitting on my hands for 3 days before the next ones came in.
I’ve been thinking of switching to the five at a time plan but am a little tight with money. It took me six months and a broken leg to even get Netflix in the first place when it was something I’ve been wanting for a while.
I might switch over soon though. I’ve got another half year of being stuck at home so I might as well.
