Lately, I’ve noticed that when quoting a post, the intended quote does not appear in the field.
I’ve also tested it in the preview post or final post with the same result.

ETA. I’ve never had that happen until just now. I only posted to see if the quote would come up when I submitted, not that I expected it too.
Maybe it’s you. Maybe it’s contagious.
Works fine for me, see above. Are you trying to quote nested quotes? Won’t work without some hand coding.
When it just did it to me, I hit the “Quote Button” and I was taken to a new screen with a totally blank reply box. So far I haven’t had it happen again though.
We’ve seen this occasionally since the move to the new server. Not sure why the system occasionally hiccups like that but it does happen.
Since it’s a sporadic occurrence that we have not yet been able to duplicate, it’s hard to pin down the cause and fix it.

I’ve had it happen multiple times. No definitive pattern emerges for why.
Sometimes I’ll compose a post, hit preview, the preview shows up, but the edit window is then empty and I can no longer hit submit and have the content that is in the preview display post.
Yeah, what they all said. First time it happened to me was a couple of weeks ago. It’s not frequent, but it does happen.
