What does the guy who is lying on the floor in the video for “Just” say at the end? The rest of the time whatever he says is subtitled but right at the end he says something and there are no subtitles. Any ideas? A lip reader might be able to shed some light on this.

Everytime I’ve heard this question asked, the answer seems to be that it’s intentionally ambiguous.
Is the camera on him the whole time he’s speaking?
I did a brief Web search, and I’m kind of amazed that nobody who’s ever asked this question has managed to find somebody who can read lips.
I haven’t been able to find any kind of theory or answer, just the fact that the bane say that they will never reveal what he says, as that would “deaden the impact” or that “it would make YOU want to lie down on the floor as well”. It can’t be that bad can it?
I doubt it - but it sure gets your curiosity up, doesn’t it? I imagine that’s the sole purpose of that answer.
I think all he says is “The director of the video wants us all to lie down”
I know something is actually said; just not what it is.
Many moons ago I saw an interview with Radiohead and this question was asked. A woman in the audience said she could read lips and knew the answer. Thom Yorke asked her to keep it to herself and she complied.
Fair enough. I can accept that I’m not meant to know. It won’t stop me thinking about it though…
“Forty-two” is one of the answers the band has given. There is no real answer. They’re tired of being asked now. ;j
