Don’t think I’ve ever been specifically pitted (I might be guilty of something that has appeared in a generic “I hate people who do X” rant) unless this counts.
I once started an inflammatory Pit thread that got me some well-deserved flaming, but nobody yet has actually started a Pit thread in my honour.
Mangetout, I also thought there’d been one about you before - not including that one - about parodies…
Maybe it was lost in the winter of missed content - I don’t remember it though.

I’ve been shedding happiness and sunshine for a while now, and so far as I know, I’ve not been Pitted. Of course, I don’t do vanity searches, so I wouldn’t necessarily know … wouldn’t it be galling, if you directed all your spleen and bile and venom at someone, and they never even noticed?
(Hmm. Galling … spleen … bile … probably too many abdominal contents references in that last sentence, but let it stand. I’m sure people around here have the guts to stomach it.)

Well I’ve only been pitted once and I have almost 700 posts so… okay, I don’t belong on this thread, do I?
I’d say if you’ve achieved 3000+ and haven’t been pitted, either you’re just a supremely nice person who never offends or your posts aren’t memorable enough to be worthy of anyone’s scorn…
I’ll be able to answer in about another week, if things continue as they have been for the last 28 months.
I’ve gotten into a couple of spitting matches in the Pit, but so far nothing severe enough to warrant its own thread.
In the same vein, I’ve never pitted another Doper. I like to think these two facts are related.
Ha! I was Pitted for being too nice (from a certain point of view). 
Well, I’ll put it this way… I don’t feel bad at all that it’s never happened to me. Not in the teeniest bit. And I’d have to say I’m more of an unmemorable poster than a super-duper nice one.
So, there, the truth comes out. I’m NOT supremely nice. In fact, one of my (now) closest friends in the whole world took a disliking to me when I first appeared, and in fact pitted me. Crunchy Frog defended me, and I sat there being all confused at what was going on. In the end, my considerable charm and bodacious bitchiness won her over.
You’d think that if you placed Considerable Charm and Bodacious Bitchiness in a steel cage match, they’d cancel each other out.
But I’m not extremely nice and people do notice my posts. Why, oh why have I never been seriously pitted. Once at a DopeFest I complained about never being Pitted and Greenbean started a pit thread titled Biggirl is a Poopyhead. But that didn’t count because it wasn’t for real.
Scylla once started a Pit thread about me, but it was so without rancor that it was moved to MPSIMS.
Come on people, I know I’m pissing some of you off— what say you all?
I’ve never been seriously pitted (only mentioned once in a thread title as a joke). I attribute to this to keeping most of my nastiness to myself.
Actually, I attribute it to keeping out of GD, and to thinking before I make a nasty comment about somebody, and to keeping my nasty comments restricted to the pit. Most of the time when I’ve wanted to either say really bad things about someone, I’ve decided it isn’t worth my energy, or that someone else would do it so much better.
And I’m not supremely nice. I might just seem that way to people who don’t know me very well.
