That should read, “steal as much as you can”.
These folks can print as much paper as they like and then tell us what it’s worth in time it takes to get and spend in the “free market”. For their service, they hold the public "debt’.

Yeesh, adhay, what a load of poo.
I’m here because I like to fight ignorance. That’s what we do here. And, thankfully, there’s lots of it right on our doorstep, which is convenient.
Yeah, well, just because someone left an ugly baby on your doorstep, no reason you have to adopt it. Sooner or later, the wolves will come…
And speaking of ignorance on our doorstep . . .
Good stuff, adhay.
Shodan, I don’t think you could possibly believe the things that you have posted in this thread. If you are being sincere, you really need to educate yourself on the subject.
Oh lovely, more racism from Shodan.
I wonder - what did your poor adopted Korean kids do to end up in an orphanage? Must have been their fault, right? Or were their parents just loser junkies who “did things” that caused them to be poor?
Must suck to have such poor genetic failures as kids…
It isn’t a question of belief - these are established facts.
Keeping in mind that what I have stated are facts - not what the various idiots are pretending I said, what I actually said.
Idiots spout idiocy; there’s nothing that can be done about that. Except to ridicule their idiocy.
Regards,
Shodan
Whatever you say, you racist fuckhead.
Don’t make me agree with crazyburrito. You believe that “We need middle-class modeling schools for these people.” That’s an established fact?
Can you point to the specific statements that are racist and explain to me why they are racist? Because I’m not seeing it.
Yes. Such “schools” are generally referred to as “intact families”. This is the first and most important school that most of us attend, and if it fails, the chances of virtually every social pathology increase markedly.
If you need to interpret the "middle class modeling schools’, literally , go ahead. Education is extremely important to overcoming poverty - do you deny it? Schools ought to reinforce values of hard work and delayed gratification - do you deny it? Hard work, personal responsibility, not having children out of wedlock, are middle-class values - do you deny it? Children do better when they are surrounded with models of successful behavior - do you deny it?
Most black children in the US are born out of wedlock, and grow up in homes without the long-term presence of a stable male. This absence of a father figure explains nearly all of the relative disadvantages of blacks in the US.
Raising children on your own has a deleterious effect on the ability to accumulate wealth. Therefore, the demographic of black women age 36-49 are going to be at a large disadvantage in accumulating wealth, which leads to the fact that their median net wealth is nearly zero.
None of this is rocket science, and frankly it tends to be much like creationism. Here are the facts, and they are all on one side. The other side tends to react with distortions, foolishness, and personal attacks. Pointing stuff like this out tends to get one called a racist. Blowing holes in a literal interpretation of Genesis tends to get one called a tool of Satan.
In both cases, the other side is operating on the basis of faith. It’s very annoying to have facts interfere with one’s myths - I know, I have had it done to me. When it is, I try to revise my thinking to bring it into line with the facts. On the subject of race - well, we tend to get the kind of thing we have seen already.

Shodan
Well, remember, I suggested it. What I have in mind, and I’m certain Shodan concurs, is middle-class exposure workshops offered in inner city storefronts.
The local skanks and layabouts come in to watch a panel of upright MCers discuss the the joys of working two jobs to make payments on underwater mortgages and pay off college loans. Also touched on would be the making of the character building choices between eating, family health care, education and deferred retirement.
The audience leaves inspired to change their shiftless ways. What’s your problem with that?
No.
Eh.
Ha ha, of course I deny it. These are nice values to have, and would be beneficial to getting people out of poverty, but this business about the “middle-class values” and its Work Hard mantra is rubbish.
No.
No one is saying modifications to principles or behavior won’t change your environment. People born into poverty, regardless of race, have issues with upward mobility. So it’s not surprising that black people (who got the vote in 1964[!!], so long ago that my own parents were fully grown adults when this happened) are slowly working their way into the middle class. The accusation of racism comes from your apparent belief that there is something “wrong” with “these people” because they haven’t waved a wand and overnight become wealthy.
Of course I remember that you suggested it. I went to your post to copy and paste it. So holy shit, you actually literally want black people to go to white people school. Interesting.
MOL, you may want to read adhay’s posts again. He thinks he’s being clever–he’s taking this opportunity to lampoon “middle-class values” and doesn’t really think that blacks should go to white people school.
I think you’re right and I’m slow. In my defense, I’m still tired and haven’t had anything to eat yet! So ignore that part of the post, but Shodan is still a prick.
I’ve always been for integration.
But, in none of my posts have I singled out blacks as skanks and layabouts. I’m an equal opportunity stereotyper.
Don’t project your nonsense onto me - I meant what I said I meant.
Same here - you are making shit up and assigning it to me, then accusing me of racism for what you made up.
Go ahead - cite where I said there was something “wrong” with blacks because they didn’t become wealthy overnight. Of course, if it is all based on fantasies and projection, you won’t be able to do it.
Saying ‘these values will get you out of poverty, but they are rubbish and I deny them’ just shows you up as an idiot.
Regards,
Shodan
Can’t get anything by you, can I RR?
I am not lampooning the middle-class values which thru most of the 2nd half of the 20th century brought prosperity to many. To the contrary, I’m merely pointing out that starting with Reagan, Wall Street and the Military-Industrial Complex have gone about destroying the middle-class under the banners of “free market”, “freedom” and “democracy”.
God, you are retarded. Right here **adhay **says something cheeky, and then you go and agree with it?
Saying this values are beneficial to getting out of poverty is NOT the same thing as saying all people who are not impoverished have these values. I didn’t say the values themselves were rubbish; I said your claim of the importance of hard work being a part of something you call “middle-class values” is rubbish.
