Oh, yeah! I’m all over that.
Yep, but I honestly find Crystal more attractive than her attractive self-image actor.
A character in a book I’m reading. Ive never been so infatuated in my life with a fictional character. Totally smitten.
Sigh.
Minka Kelly
She’s on that Parenthood tv show and she plays the girl who tutors the kid with aspergers.
I think she’s dating Derek Jeter in real life.
James
He’s really… nice, for want of a better word. He loves animals as much as I do. He’s interested in all sorts of things and most of them are things like freshwater fish or Native American culture or Einstein, not stuff like frigging Star Wars or video games. He’s smart, but I think he’s not so smart that he’s been told all his life how smart he is and let it become his identity. He’s kind of nerdy in a sort of rugged conservationist way- not a jock or a prettyboy, but not a skinny math nerd with huge glasses and so forth. He isn’t too serious or pretentious- likes goofy action movies and South Park. He wants to learn difficult languages just to know them- Russian, Chinese, Hebrew, stuff like that.
I think his girlfriend probably thinks he’s as special as I do, though.
The occasional contestant on $25,000 Pyramid, $100,000 Pyramid, or Match Game. It’s probably a good thing that the images I crush on are between 25 and 35 years old.
I sat next to Terri Holladay, a famous Eurasian model, at an upscale bar two days ago, and we were having a great time laughing and chatting. She really is a charmer. She’s 42 but looks like 28… Too bad she was with a date =(
I’ll see you that, and raise you a character on a computer game.
Loves me some Alistair, played through Dragonage three times now…
I’m a sad, sad, nerdy girl.
That lady in brief clip in a a recent Nissan commercial who’s washing her car & some kids ball bounce by & she looks up at him. Gorgeous, maybe latina or multiracial I guess. Oh my!
She’s pretty great and I’d like to add Charline, as well. I like
Newsweek White House correspondent Holly Bailey. Mmm mmm mmmmm!
Entertainment Weekly did article a couple of weeks back on actors in TV commercials and he was one of the ones mentioned. His name is Isaiah Mustafa.
Maria Ozawa. If only she had a better job.
ETA: don’t google her at work.
I share this crush and am often sad that I bought a single family home with no rental suite or basement for him to remodel on my behalf.
I also think I have a bit of a girlcrush on the Progressive girl.
I just saw this commercial for the first time earlier tonight. Yeah, she’s adorable. I normally skip right through commercials on the DVR, but I watched that one in its entirety.
fshhhhhh you think I care? I’ll take slightly pretentious guy over “I’m completely obsessed with Japanese!” guy or “why would anyone want to learn another language?” guy or “everyone else should learn English” guy any day.
He actually doesn’t talk about it much- mostly just last semester when he had Chinese class in the evening and had to hang out at school all day long. It mostly came up in the context of how much it sucked having to spend the whole day at school.
Really, I take it as a sign of curiosity- wanting to learn something just to know it rather than because it’s required. And a sign of guts, wanting to learn tough languages instead of the easiest one he can learn and still say he’s bilingual.
And if he talks about it just to make girls like him… well, then it works
Ooooooo, seconded. I also think it’s the uniform–or the fact that he doesn’t have as much of a beard as he did when he was Boromir. Both of these things make him look longer and leaner. Yum.
Also: Flo from the Progressive commercials! I know some people think she’s annoying, but I think she’s adorable.
The cute flirty hipster pizza delivery girl with the covered face piercing, super tight emo pants and Converse sneakers. I know it’s all just a ruse to make me give you a bigger tip ( ) but I let it totally work on me. I know what you must have thought, delivery girl, when I answered the door in my orange Tshirt and yellow Homer Simpson jammies. I had just woken up though, I sleep during the day! And I swear Judge Judy was on TV ONLY because I was trying to get the sound to work on the stereo, I don’t watch it, seriously!
The girl with the pink swimming cap. She had the whole lake to swim in, and she swam into me. The fleeting touch of neoprene to neoprene, and the fact that she didn’t want to be alone in the big wide lake. The flutter of white feet through dark water.
Fortunately, the cold lake quenches hot blood in the morning. I’ll be over it tomorrow.
