Have at it! But keep in mind it’s had it’s fair share of detractors. I’m really not doing it to be all high-and-mighty or anything. I think it started way back as an, “Oh sh*t, I forgot. . .” thought, and I didn’t feel like rewriting the whole post. I end up using 'em as more comedy than anything else.
But I guarantee that if I should have a legacy here at the SDMB, it won’t be that I saved a guy with CPR, or that as a nine-year-old, I once corrected then-Gov. Tom Kean’s copy of Declaration of Independents to the correct spelling, or that I was a halfway decent bomb tech killed by what OSHA will call “an unfortunate gym equipment malfunction.”

I’ve been here a little over a year, but I don’t post much, although I read threads just about every day, so I keep up. But popularity on the Dope? Less than stellar, but popularity is related in some fashion to a high posting rate. Since I don’t post much, no one knows me, therefore I’m not popular. Not unpopular, just, as I said, no one knows me.
I’m actually okay with that, because I have little to add most of the time. Still and all, in the appropriate message board way, I feel I know a lot of you. You’re good people.
I put some 20+, but most of those are MMP’ers. I think outside of the MMP, I’m not too well known.
