If someone else has modified a Rose model that I have open, the next time I bring up the window I always get a popup saying that the model has been modified externally, and do I want to reload it? Is there a way to turn this feature off?
I hate to bump this, but I really want to get rid of this annoying “feature”.
Is there any way for each person to get their own copy of the files and do check-outs and check-ins using CVS or something? Otherwise, it seems like a useful feature to prevent you from losing hours of work because it was all applied to a stale model.
We are using ClearCase for source control, and you can check files out from there using Rational Rose.
