Not very well. No. I actually thought I was being humorous with the reference to the moderator directive in the GD thread. I was making a point as well, because I didn’t think the phrase I used was an insult as far as GD was concerned I really never meant anything serious. It may surprise some people, but I do try to get along by occassionally being rudely combative. Its really not my nature, but it seems to be a common occurence in GD and the pit, and I do try to perform like everyone else.
Perhaps I had it coming because I have this vague understanding that there is some rule the requires you to be really upset when starting a pit rant.
Even though you just want to rub it in, I still thank you for asking.

But in any case I accept your apology, commend you for offering it (not a lot of folks on anonymous message boards are big enough to admit any mistake at all), and no hard feelings.
To me, the phrase “shove it up your ass” was a rude way of telling you that I didn’t like the excerpt of your post in the referenced thread and that you could take it back. It was no reflection on your intelligence or character which is what I would think constitutes an insult.
