Ready for my flogging

I lost, I admit it, the Niners damn near pulled it out, but we lost. Friggin Raiders  So here’s your chance, take your turns berating me. Go ahead I can take it

stuffinb, I have no idea what you are talking about, but I know how to rescue this thread from MPSIMS.

Dopers, how many people believe stuffinb should be flogged and how many believe he should merely be bent over my knee and spanked with a high-heeled shoe?

mag, no need for either. Just show him a copy of the standing and that will be painful enough.

PS – maggie, save those high heels for me.

Hi magdalene I spouted off in IMHO, that the Niners would win Sundays Niners-Raiders matchup.

Stuyguy, what can I say, Ive got it coming

stuyguy, it depends…have you been a bad boy?

stuffinb, okay, it makes more sense now. Well, let’s see what the Teeming Millions say.

Flogging or Spanking for stuffinb?

No, no…you WEAR the high heels, and spank him with a well-worn leather-soled slipper.

Yeesh. Am I the only one who respects the grand traditions around here?

No maggie, I’ve been a goooood boy. That’s why I get the heels. But Uke’s right (…isn’t he always? Well, except for museum names, but that’s another thread entirely…) you wear 'em. That’s reward enough for me.

stuyguy, nobody likes a goody-two-shoes.

Uke Ike, I’ll take that as a vote for spanking over flogging. Thanks for reminding me, I misplaced my manual and have been improvising a bit lately - you know, alternating between the mules with the feathers, the red-patent leather with the spiked heels, the black suede thigh-highs boots (note - do not allow slave to lick them, as it ruins the suede).

Scold me some more, maggie! Scold me some more! You know how I love it when you scold me.

I asked my friend why he hangs out with that sadist and he replied, “Beats me.”

Mag, your taste seems to be impeccable. All I ask for is the chance to watch.

And here I thought you were apologizing for missing the Folsom Street Dopefest. I can garauntee you that if you had attended, the niners would have won. Such is fate.

stuffinb, I have only two complaints about the Niners to make here:

(a)Why the hell did the Niners go for it on fourth and one from the 29 when they could have taken the lead with a field goal? Was the wind that bad at that end of the field?

(b)They still need to fix that defense. How does Tim Brown get that wide open when it’s sudden-death?

Otherwise, it was the best game to watch yesterday. Pity the Raiders. Here they spent their first round pick on Jankiowski so that they could win the close games and he misses 2 that could have won it for them.

Some other notes from yesterday -

-The Eagles were screwed by the refs (Stephen Davis fumbled but he was called down) and should be getting one of those “sorry-we-screwed-up” letters from the officials that Bill Cowher has become accustomed to getting.

-During the Seahawks game they kept point out the “fact” that a Mike Holmgren coached team had not been shut in something like 130 straight games. Umm, hello, CBS? What do you call the 23-0 shutout of Seattle by Miami in week one?

-And my favorite, as the Bengals miss a field goal while trailing 23-14 and time running out (don’t ask me why they were attempting a field goal), the announcer had a classic line: “and the chorus of boos begins that has been so familiar in Cincinnati for the last 10 years.”

Hey Gazoo I didn’t go to the game, but Candlestick winds can be pretty bad. You can’t guarantee anything over 35 yards.

The defense as Ive mentioned is still making dumb mistakes (we started 4 rookies). Given a little time, hopefully they’ll get it straightened out. I agree it was the best game yesterday, and Im not really disappointed in the Niners, though Im wondering about the decision to go for the field goal on 1st and 10 at the 13.

On a side note Garcia had a great game and is rivaling Warner, Rice extended two career record and Owens had a career game

Oldscratch, sorry i didn’t make it, work came up again. :frowning: FWIW, Im geting to the point where I won’t need to travel quite so much, so I’ll be looking out for the next time.

Stuffinb,
No need to berate you. Knowing you’ll replay in your head that utter breakdown in blocking on the failed Niner FG is good enough. Jeez, I haven’t seen an interior line collapse that spectacularly in years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one collapse so badly at such an ungodly inopportune time.

Well, your guys gave us a good scare. We gave ourselves one, too.

Here we had a perfectly good thread with magdalene, as dominatrix, talking about the competing virtues of flogging v. assorted spanking techniques.

And a bunch of bozos hijack it to talk about football.

Buncha pervs.
