Really, really old obscure video game (PC)

OK, here’s one for those expert Dopers who can always answer every obscure question in 5 minutes. I’m counting on you guys here.

In 1990-91, my brothers had a PC in their room for games and BBS chat (the only BBS in town, 1200 baud woo!). I think it was a PCjr. It had an amber screen and everything. Anyway, we constantly played this game–I think it was a sort of maze thing. I only remember the top screen, which had little things bouncing around. It played “Popcorn” all the time, and I think the game may have also been called Popcorn. It was not Lode Runner or Pengo. What was it?

There was an Arkanoid/Breakout clone for the PC from that period called Popcorn. That probably is the game you’re thinking of.

(And 1990 is “really, really old”? Sigh…)

Hey, thanks! That may well have been it; I’ll look around for it when I get back. OK, 1990 isn’t ‘really, really’ old; I just wanted to make it clear that it wasn’t recent at all and we weren’t talking about anything in color. I graduated from HS in 91, so I remember the good old days…

Checking the Wiki article on Popcorn led me to Digger, a maze game that uses Popcorn as background music.
