I’d like to read an original book in Esperanto, preferably a novel or short stories, and preferably one considered good, not just an example of a book in Esperanto. I’m not asking you to do a search; I can do that. I’m asking for recommendations from you or your Esperanto-speaking peeps. Bonus points for books available in the US. Thanks.
¿Que?
One of my favourites is Glaŭka lum’, an anthology of poetry on gay subjects; another one is Verse reversi, a difficult but highly evocative book of poetry.
I’m not sure about availability in the US, but the Flandra Esperanto-Ligo has a bookstore with a large selection.
Paging sunspace …
(How’d I miss this thread?)
How about Kroata Milita Noktlibro (Nightbook of the Croatian War) by Spomenka Štimec? It’s a relatively-short novel of what it was like to live through the wars as Yugoslavia broke up.
