Recommend a comic strip.

Can anyone recommend some comic strips? The only ones I read anymore are Get Fuzzy, Pearls Before Swine, and sometimes Dilbert. What else is good?

Frazz

9 Chickweed Lane

If you’re at all D&D-style geeky, it doesn’t get any better than The Order of the Stick: Cast List (good starting point) and Strip #1.

The equally geeky, but in more of a computer gaming way, is PvP. Fricking hillarious. New Reader Page.

Sluggy Freelance is probably the best webcomic I’ve ever found, but it take some dedication. The storylines often meander off path for a few months before getting you to where they were going. Still, if you’ve got a few months to catch up, it’s definitely worth it. New Reader Guide.

Check out Multiplex

And chat with the artist in the SDMB here !!!

Also, check out The K Chronicles .

Zortic
Ozy & Millie
Melonpool

Dork Tower

What, no Penny Arcade?

For a bit of British flavour, try Scary Go Round.

In another site recently someone linked to Dresden Codak, which i’m liking already. Philosophy, Quantum Mechanics, and a hot main character. What’s not to like? :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the impossibly buff and impossibly dumb Brewster Rocket: Space Guy!

I’m going to be a little biased and recommend two guys in the same webcomics collective as my own comic:

Rob & Elliot and
Beaver & Steve

They’re two of the funniest comics I’ve ever read, in print or on the web.

Political, but funny.
This Modern World

For a quirky, geeky, offbeat strip, I recommend UserFriendly.

If you like roleplaying games/gamer geek culture at all, you’ll probably love The Order of the Stick. (I pointed you at the latest, but it might be a good idea to back to #1 and work forward).

I see somebody has already recommended Frazz, but I’ll second it. IMO the best syndicated strip around.

Get old books for Pogo and Calvin and Hobbes, and re-read them… better’n anything around.

Personal plug… Watch Your Head

I’m going to go ahead and recommend Sinfest. Be warned that the language is frequently not safe for work, and even if that isn’t a problem for you, be VERY sure to note that the URL ends in .net, not .com – you may find a distinct difference between the two sites.

Something Positive

White Ninja Comics is brilliant. Seriously.

Dr. Mc Ninja is a funny action cartoon.

I guess I like ninjas?
