Cornhusker’s lotion. Meant for the working man, just like it sounds. Available in most drugstores, as for it.
I use Lubiderm Advanced Therapy. The name makes it sound like a sexual aid, but it’s a good, non-greasy lotion.
Avon makes something cheap and great. It has almost no scent, and they do on line shopping.
Damn frames… it’s the MOISTURE THERAPY Intensive Extra Strength Cream on page 2. All the moisture therapy stuff is good.
For severly dry or chapped skin, I’ve always sworn by Bag Balm. Okay, it’s technically for livestock (for cows’ chapped udders) but it’s amazing stuff.
It’s thick and gooey, so you probably wouldn’t want to wear it during the day. I use it on my feet, and what I do is slather it on before I go to bed, and put on a pair of socks so it doesn’t get on the sheets. Voila! In the morning, my feet feel like a baby’s.
If you wanted to use it on your face, I’d recommend putting it on after you came home from work, and then wiping it off before you go to bed.
Oil of Olay Complete is a great moisturizer, and is available with SPF 15 and 30. The one for sensitive skin has no scent at all. It’s totally non-greasy and has no colour. As long as you hid the bottle, nobody would suspect.
Real men don’t buy things from the Avon lady.
I’m not a man, but I do love Neutrogena’s Healhty Skin face lotion. It’s unscented and has alphahydroxy and some vitamins in it, and it’s SPF 15. I’ve gotten my So to use it, and he admits to loving it, too.
Jesus, I never knew I was such a moron.
I felt I was asking a General Question. Ah well.
I think Ill head for the E45… Its mainly for my cheeks and forehead, which are as dry as a camels hole in a sandstorm.
Another vote for Corn Huskers Lotion from Pfizer. This time of year is hell on the hands when I’m feeding the livestock and it keeps my hands from aching all day or, eventually, bleeding from being chapped.
Sure. Make it sound as if you’re a cowboy. Two llamas and a fainting goat ain’t livestock.
This is exactly what I was going to recommend. I’ll ad that it also quite inexpensive for a facial moisterizer - less than $10 a bottle. I occasionally convince the SO to use it when he’s looking particularly itchy/scratch/dry.
We’ve got this far into the thread and nobody’s recommended WD-40? How much more manly can you get?

Of…mad cow disease?
Now, if you want something that truly looks like a manly moisturizer…
Now this is a manly moisturizer
Editions de Parfum Frederic Malle sells their scents in lotion and oil format. Try Musc Ravageur. Doesn’t get manlier than that, unless you’re going to go with fishbicycle/ rec.
French. By definition not manly.
Sharpen the razor?
I just empty the bottle of whisky and then break it and I shave with the jagged glass.
On your face, use a little Noxema in dabs on the dry spots, then rub it in with a little warm water. Repeat as necessary.
Anywhere else, Vaseline Intensive Care Total Moisture dry skin lotion. Very effective, rubs in fast, nongreasy.
Actually, it is all goats, (none fainting), but goats carry a certain baggage on this board. (Of course, being a cowboy could come to have certain expectations, these days, as well.)
Dat’s why you get it online, smartypants!
