Recommend a Rumi translation

I am interested in getting a book or two of Rumi’s poetry in English translation. I was wondering if I could get some recommendations based on people’s favorite translations. I know so little about Rumi’s work that I’m not exactly sure where to start. But I think Coleman Barks’ might be a little too interpretive for my taste, based on a few side-by-side comparisons I’ve found.

Which translations have a nice balance between the literal and the poetic? Is there a translation that captures the mystical aspect of the poetry better than others?

Thanks.

Going to attempt one bump.

Anyone know if this excerpt is actually Rumi and, if so, what is the title? Thanks!

I said: what about my eyes?
God said: Keep them on the road.
I said: what about my passion?
God said: Keep it burning.
I said: what about my heart?
God said: Tell me what you hold inside it?
I said: pain and sorrow?
He said: stay with it.
The wound is the place where the Light enters you.
