Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare

I haven’t heard anything about this until I saw a trailer for it tonight while watching South Park. Apparently it’s DLC that adds a zombie fighting campaign and a World at War-esque zombie holdout.

Now, Nazi Zombies was my favorite part of World at War. It’s been a long time since I’ve played Red Dead Redemption (I haven’t touched it since I beat it), but I just may pick it up.

I’m very interested in this DLC, but am currently struggling my way through Dead Rising 2 and I figured I should finish one zombie game before starting any more.

I’d be curious to see feedback from those who’ve played it -anyone?

This is going to have to wait until I’ve worked my way through Fallout, but I am pretty excited about it. My friends and I have played a ridiculous amount of Nazi Zombies in World at War and a ridiculous amount of Red Dead multiplayer, so combining the two should be awesome.

Downloaded this the other day and haven’t stopped plAying it. Very good story and voice acting jus like the main game. I’ve put 6 hrs in or so and don’t think I’m near the end yet. Best DLC ever and worth well over the ten bucks. Especially if you love the main game.

I’m scared. Undead Nightmare is just great - a beautifully realised apocalyptic wasteland, the great plains dotted with aimless shambling undead and superior scares to most zombie films I’ve ever seen.

Then yesterday I discovered the co-operative Red Dead Redemption online games, and that sucked away ten hours of my life with its childish cowboy posse shenanigans.

Now I’m scared that when I can actually locate the option to play multiplayer ‘Undead Overrun’ that I’ll lose my job, girlfriend and house into the bargain, end up the husk of a man, drooling, with broken thumbs.

It is amazing. They really nailed the atmosphere. Haven’t played online yet. If you take your time and rescue all the towns you can easily get 10+ hrs out of this expansion. I wish i could take War into the main game as my mount. That’d be awesome.

War? What is he good for?
