I have been meaning to ask this for a long time and I did do a quick search to make sure it’s original so forgive me if it’s not.

Am I the only one who hears it, especially the part where Norah sings:

Leading into a single note
Please tell me I’m not crazy. 
Opening or closing? If you mean the closing theme, I don’t hear it at all.
BTW: I found a sample with the relevant passage at Tower Records.
Vaguely. They have a similar crescendo I guess, but it certainly doesn’t jump out at me.
My main connection in that song are parts that sound like it’s going to break into “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (e.g. Elvis).

I can’t hear even a little bit of anything resembling the Red Dwarf theme.
Oh well I guess I’m just crazy then. It’s just every time I hear it, the first thing I think is “Red Dwarf”. Oh well. :smack:
You’re talking Series 1 & 2 opening theme, right? The slower, piano-based one? I can understand what you mean, there is a similar sound there although I don’t think I would have picked up on it if no-one had ever mentioned it.
No, not the slow version, the regular song, can’t remember if it’s start or finish. Besides I think we’ve settled on the idea that I’m just crazy now.
Well, that line sounds a little bit like “let me fly far away from here.”
