Why can’t it be both?

Why can’t it be both?
Sadly, they both are sadistic pieces of shit. Hopefully they’ll simultaneously be run over by a bus.
Yes, why can’t it be both there too??
I always just think of the three-headed Abbot/Paxton/Patrick hydra. Fun no, kinda gross actually, imaging a list of all the atrocities the three fuckers have committed and from there trying, somehow, to decide who’s the worst scumbag.
The last decent governor was Ann Richards, bless her heart. My family has been here since the1840’s at least, and I’m not sure where was one before, excepting Sam Houston. I think we’re so used to having weird politicians we wouldn’t know what to do. Seriously, I’m 81 and my wife is 79, we’re just hunkering down until the dark cloud passes .and if both of us makes it to 90 we’ll be lucky. I think. You know, there’s been a lot of talk about Trump being like Hitler but it seems to me he’s acting more like a James Bond villain. He’s even got a cat that would sit on his lap - Mike Johnson. I wish I could say that’s a joke…
Even James Bond villains were somewhat competent. He’s more like an Austin Powers villain.
Still too competent. Back to the Future villian. After all, he was the model for the character.
This is not the metaphor for what’s happening. It’s more like an asteroid strike.
I’m getting visions of the Deccan Traps.
I have standards, I would not fuck Texas.
I can’t find a link yet, but I heard earlier today that some Texans are taking measures to unseat Gov Abbott. (I’m sure it didn’t start today.) Anyway, the irony in that did not escape me.
They could unseat him by just tipping over his wheelchair.
Well, the Dem pols just left the state but I don’t think that will work.
The measure aims to stop the flow of pills into Texas from blue states. It could open package-delivery services up to fines, along with doctors and drug-distribution firms.”
Story in the WAPO
I would like to see this result in online pharmacies refusing to ship anything to Texas. Yes, this could result in Texans having to pay much higher prices or perhaps not being able to get meds as soon as they would like, but you reap what you sow.
Healthcare organizations should boycott the state. No conventions, as little interactions as possible.
Texas has already been courting this by illegally requesting medical records from out of state.
Rather than banning meds from Texas, which will hurt many innocents, especially in the more-blue urban areas, I think I’d like to see, sad as it is, other states embracing California’s reciprocal legislation stance. No, I don’t think it’s HELPFUL, just pushing us all further down the realm towards collapse and/or warm-to-hot Civil War (we are already in a cool one at this point), but this is the Pit, so, yeah, don’t have to be quite as rational as usual.
So I want California, Colorado, and other states to enable ANYONE to sue Texas and/or Florida for creating material risk to my health by not dealing with their measles issue, or creating a huge pool of unvaccinated folks that ALSO cross state borders and increase me and mines risk!
First - Humbly requesting the “Reluctantly” be removed from the thread title.
Second - Gov Abbott, Steaming pile of racism.
Greg Abbott @GregAbbott_TX
Third - Lying Ted Cruz gins up fake outrage and him actually doing work. How amazing it was that he just happened to have paint, roller, long handle, camera crew with him as rolled down the highway. I’m not sure if his staffer’s graffiti was even dry yet.
smithb (quoting somtihing on xitter.)
“Texans don’t have to look at this hateful garbage anymore.”
What do you mean? I’m still seeing Cruz’s face.
At least they’re seeing (a little) less of King’s hateful face.
