Well, what happened with awesome was unexpected. It sucks, since Awesome is awesome, and I’m not sure what it is they’re trying to do with the show. Are they coming to realize that the goofy awkward kid stumbling his way through danger every week premise is worn out and they have to branch out into something darker and more serious? I’m not sure the show really has the flexibility to majorly change the premise. Unless there’s a cliffhanger/trick here, that was certainly out of tune with the rest of the show.
*Are You Being Served *used the word long ago. And it’s been shown repeatedly on the local, slightly conservative, PBS outlet.
Context is everything!
Six and a half minutes into episode 1 and I’m asking, “Who’s Ellie?”
Oh, and a Chuck/Star Trek connection besides executive producer Robert Duncan McNeill (Paris).
Bonita Friedericy is married to Dr Phlox. And was in an Enterprise ep.
Eleanor Bartowski Awesome, Chuck’s sister.
He knows who Ellie is, he’s quoting himself and then changing his opinion after seeing Sarah in a bikini.
