A lot of my “favourite” YouTube videos (in my favorites list) have since been removed, but they still show up in my list as “removed video” or something similar. All of these no-longer-available videos are cluttering up my Favourites list, and I’d like to remove them, seeing as they’re not useful to me.
How do I go about doing that? (I imagine there used to be a fairly easy way a couple of YouTube redesigns ago… grr…) Could some explain how to do this, carefully and in detail if possible? I’m not good with technology.
Go to the list view of your Favorites Playlist. I usually click on my icon in the upper right corner to get all of my playlists across the top. Click in the upper right corner of the screen image representing the play list (the number of videos in the play list will turn into stacked squares with three or four horizontal lines across it when you mouse over it - click that).
In the new page, below the banner, on the right side there will be an edit playlist button. Click that.
Check the box to the left of any video you want to remove and return to the top of the playlist. There are several buttons across the top of the list: Playlists, Remove, Tag. Click Remove and the videos should disappear. Now you can navigate away from this page and your edits should be finalized.
