I can’t seem to find any way of getting access to the currently playing song without having to actually find it in the list on the right (even though it’s the currently ON song)
My way of perfecting my playlist is to add everything, then remove things that are crap when they come on.
You can also highlight it, right-click, then scroll down that menu to “Remove From List.” That will keep it on your computer, should you ever want to add it to another playlist.
I know I can do this. But what I’m asking is - is there a less clicky time consuming way. I may be doing this for around 60 to 70 percent of the songs on a playlist of several thousand songs. I don’t want to have to scroll to the blue highlight (on a multiple thousand list) right click it, click remove, and then have to click ‘play’ because removing the song stopped the playing of the next song.
I don’t want to have to do this several thousand times. If I could press ONE button, and the player will delete the currently playing song from the list, then move on to the next song and play it, then things will be ok.
The whole thing is dependent on me listening to a song in order to decide whether to keep it.
I guess I’m confused about what you’re asking. I don’t have more than eight or ten hours on any particular playlist, but once I’ve put that list into the edit window, I can add or remove songs to my heart’s content without listening to any of them. Don’t know how it would get much faster than that.
