I hope you guys remember about the half-price special for Charter members.

They do. I renewed a week or two ago and it was the correct price. $7.48 or whatever it is.
Just to be absolutely clear, the renewals will not be automatically processed a la a magazine subscription, but will expire unless the paying member specifically authorizes a new transaction, correct?
If we renew before the expiry date, will our next twelve months start from after our old twelve months expire, or will they start as soon as we pay?
One year from your previous expiration date.

Is there any place on the boards where we can look to see when our subscription expires? You know, just in case some of us would rather be proactive about renewing instead of waiting for an email reminder.
Go to User CP, then Paid Subscriptions. Somewhere down towards the bottom will be your expiration date.
