Last night, a dog that we’re dogsitting managed to chew up a bit of our almost brand new berber carpeting. He pulled out a small loop of carpet in the middle of the floor.
I did a Google search for articles on how to repair it, but didn’t come up with much. The place where we bought the carpet said they could patch it if we had some extra carpeting (which I think we do) but I think the seams from the patch would look as bad if not worse than the pull itself. They also mentioned using some fabric glue to glue down the pull. That’s looking like the best idea so far, but I wanted to throw the question out to the teeming millions to see if there’s any other suggestions. This being almost new carpeting, we’re a little upset that it’s damaged, and would like to repair it the best way we can.
