{zebra doesn’t join in the tread but sits on the side because nobody picks him to play on their team or wants to sit with him at lunch.}
You guys suck. If my friends Kirk and Spock were here they would kick your butts!
Why, I believe that lil’ comment deserves a NOOGIE!
: grabs Zebra in a headlock and goes to Noogie town :
You know at first I was a little nervous that my post would kill the tread. That I would be left there all alone with my imaginary friends.
It was too good to last.
But as you do that I am in perfect position to reach around and give your a WEDGIE!
Hey, Zebra, you wanna play this game? I made it up, but you can change the rules if you wanna.

puts sign on desk that says GO AWAY in black Magic Marker, then tries to take a nap
: Shyly approaches the matt_mcl and Priam table :
Can I sit and read with you guys? You guys are way nicer than the other kids. I got The Phantom Tollbooth, it’s real good.
Not really a spoiler but
When I was ten there were only Kirk and Spock.
Those books look good. My mom only gives me these books about a British Vetra Veter, umm, Animal doctor. I’m not sure why. We’re not British and I’ve never expressed interest in farm animals.
Ooh, I read the Phantom Toolbooth, that was pretty good, but I don’t think it’s science fiction. I asked the lady at the library what was good, and she asked me what I liked, and I said that book, and she said, “Oh, so you like science fiction? Here’s one you might like too.” Then she gave me this book called like Alex Mendelson, The Boy From Mars or something like that, and I read it. It was weird but I kinda liked it. But then I didn’t really think Phantom Tollbooth was science fiction because it had magic and demons and stuff, and the other one was more like aliens and this one guy who kept trying to talk to other dimensions or something. My gramma gave me this real science fiction book, by Isaac Amisov, called Robots and Empire. It was real big and heavy, and it took me a long time to read it, but that one was really good. Some parts I didn’t understand, and there was a lot of things happenening, but it was really cool! There were these two robots named weird names like Daneel and Giskard, and they were friends, and they were like special robots who figured out how to break the robot rules so they could save people better. I have some other books that talk about real robots and rockets and computers and stuff, those are cool too. I bet someday we’ll really travel in space and have robots do stuff for us, that would be cool.
