Do we no longer have the option to click onto a mod’s e-mail icon right on the offending post?
We never did. There was always a Report Post link, which would in turn email the appropriate mods. There still is such a link, only now it looks like an [!] and is at the top right corner of each post, other than your own.
What is the official position on stating that you have used the function? Is it like the “Ignore” list (i.e., verboten)?
The moderators have stated previously that they prefer you didn’t call atention to your use of this link. I do not, however, speak for the moderators, not the SDMB.
That should read “nor the SDMB”.
