While the SDMB smilies fit most occasions, I find that there’s one smiley sorely lacking. I long for a “barfy-faced” smiley.
Those of you who’re the same rough age group as me will remember sticking “Mr. Yuk” stickers on all your mom’s cleaning supplies. That’s the kind of face I mean.
Think of the miriad of uses. The expressiveness of a smiley, in green, looking nauseated, tongue hanging out in response to a flirt hijack for one.
If The Powers That Be are even remotely interested, I’d be happy to try to make one and donate it to the board.

What about the others, the ones Chronos & sdimbert & Stimpy & tshirts created?
(One of those was a beer mug I suggested for toasting people, and I was kind of waiting to see it.)
We set the smilies aside in the push of day to day stuff here on the board and I apologize.
Lemme clear out some time and space and we’ll see about getting caught up around here. It’s gonna take me at least a week, PLEASE remind me if some crisis intervenes between now and then and I will endeavor to get this happening.
By the way, smilies should be in .gif format, and should have the background color set to transparent. For viewability, you should make sure it stands out against both shades of gray used in the backgrounds, and it’s stylistically a good idea to keep at 15 pixels or less in diameter.
If you don’t know how to make them transparent or the right format, you can email me any image and I’ll be happy to convert it like I did for Chronos.
I’ve also done a few from just a written suggestion, but if you want one like that, you’d better hurry and suggest it. Once the current batch of waiting smilies go in there’s no telling when it will happen again.

However if real life has interfered with 'em, well, I’ve enjoyed the board immensely even without a Yukky Face smiley, and will continue to do so until time permits!
