We will (hopefully) be opening a restaurant in Holly Hill, Florida. It’s a small community between Ormond Beach and Daytona Beach. We will be serving comfort food, some from around the world, and some American dishes with international flair.
Sorry, but I’m going to give some (possibly) constructive criticism here:
Your restaurant is going to serve “comfort food, some from around the world, and some American dishes with international flair”
This says to me that you have no idea what you want the restaurant to be, and customers won’t know either.
Comfort food typically means similar to Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans. That kind of food is not going to attract the same clientele as the other two items. In fact, places with the latter two items and places with the first item generally attract the opposite crowds from each other, and the hipsters who want food with flair wouldn’t be caught dead with the comfort food crowd, and vice versa.
Just so I’m not being 100% negative, my completely-not-serious name suggestion is “The Gruel On The Hill”.
