Sorry Duke, but I’'l be out tonight. We should do a trial run though. I did one once with another SD member a while ago. I think we wrote about it in the old thread. It was pretty smooth. I don’t know if we should even use Pokertropolis tomorrow night. Some players still may need some time setting up their account. I guess we’ll see how many are ready by tomorrow night.
I’d be interested in playing at Pokertropolis. What time does it start? I haven’t signed up yet, but I’m already set up with neteller so it shouldn’t take long to do so. Probably be there as Dag Otto.
I play a monthly private tourney at pokerstars, and as long as people are signed up before the game starts they will just post and fold until they sign on. I’ve seen people show up an hour late and still have plenty of chips. I’d hope that Pokertropolis is similar.
As far as the stakes go, I’m happy with the 10 cent prize pool/50 cent rake structure, however, it seems to make a little more sense to have the prize pot at least equal to the rake, i.e., 50 cents/50 cents. For me, a $1 entry isn’t any different than a 60 cent entry. But I’m the new guy and will go with whatever the game is set up for.
I’m guessing that the private table will require a password? Will that be posted here or e-mailed?

Dag Otto, just be sure to email X-Ray tomorrow before 9:40 Eastern. If we play at PokerRoom, you’re screwed, it takes a week to get squared away there. If we play at PokerTropolis, you’ll be good to go, I bet we don’t have 10 guys with funded accounts yet. And get with X-Ray over A I M (AOL Instant Messenger), that’s how we coordinate the games. Actually, I’m pretty sure it’s Neteller with one T. That’s how I funded my poker account.
A google search of Netteller took me to Peoples State Bank. I certainly didn’t use that.
